Highways UK 2020 Starts in

4/5 November 2020, NEC, Birmingham

Innovation Competitions at Highways UK

Thanks to all organisations who participated in our two innovation competitions at the 2019 Highways UK; and special thanks to the more than 40 expert judges who took on the daunting but rewarding task of selecting the category winners and the two overall winners.

Congratulations to Thermoelectric Conversion Systems, overall winner of the Costain-sponsored Intelligent Infrastructure Challenge; and GCP Applied Technologies, overall winner of the AECOM-sponsored Civils and Materials Innovation Hub. You'll find details on both together with the other nine category winners using the navigation tabs and links on this page.

Highways UK has a central role supporting and promoting innovation in the highways sector: we want to be a catalyst for innovation and accelerate the uptake of new ideas. Both competitions will be running in 2020, with the entry process opening at Easter.
