Safer Highways

Ensuring roads are safe to work and travel upon

We are also running content programmes from our four client hubs...

From smart motorways to last mile urban deliveries, the road network needs to be understood as a system, with journeys using a mix of local authority and strategic roads. We are bringing together the key roads authorities to outline their main challenges and opportunities and how they interface with each other

The national client: Highways England

Meet and engage with Highways England's senior commercial, strategy and management teams through stakeholder and supply chain events running throughout the event in the Highways England Theatre and on its stand. Content controlled by HE

Regional clients: England's Regions Hub

Bringing together the four emerging Sub-national Transport Bodies, the Regions Hub is the place to meet and find out the latest news and priorities from Transport for the North, England's Economic Heartland, Midlands Connect and Transport for the South East. Content developed by STBs

Local authority clients: ADEPT Hub

Some 98% of the UK's road network, carrying two thirds of all traffic and including many important rural and urban 'A' roads, is managed by local authorities. Content developed by ADEPT

City clients: Urban Mobility Hub

Congestion will never be eliminated in growing and productive cities, but technology combined with effective strategies can help to manage and reduce it, which is a prerequisite if such cities are to remain attractive places to live and work.
