Highways England discovery trail

Following on from the success of last year's school's discovery trail, Highways England continues to inspire future generations. This year about 120 school pupils, aged 13 to 18, will be taking part in a discovery trail around Highways UK during the afternoon of the second day, to experience the wealth of career opportunities available in the sector. It's the perfect way to get young people thinking and talking about the innovation, and technologies they see, as well as giving industry leaders the chance to hear from this diverse group of students about their experience of the day, their ambitions and ideas.

Highways England's discovery trail is supporting the Royal Academy of Engineering's This is Engineering Day. You may catch a specially made video playing on various stages throughout Highways UK, and show your support through social media @ThisIsEngineering #ThisIsEngineering
